The Campbell Christie Fund, set up in memory of Campbell Christie, former Chairman of Falkirk FC, is managed and distributed by Falkirk Football Community Foundation (FFCF).
Purpose The Fund will make grants to organisations that encourage young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to participate in sport and physical activity. Organisations funded should be properly constituted, but do not need to be registered charities.
Geographical area The Campbell Christie Fund area of benefit is Forth Valley.
Size of grants The size of grants will be at the discretion of the Committee members on a case by case basis of up to £1,000 per organisation.
Committee members The Campbell Christie Fund Committee is made up of the following members;
- Betty Christie – wife of Campbell Christie and Patron of the Fund
- Gordon Waddell and Adele Mills – Trustees of Falkirk Football Community Foundation
- Craig Campbell – Chief Executive of Falkirk Football Community Foundation
Trustees will meet twice a year with funds distributed in February and August. For March considerations, please submit your application by midnight on Tuesday 31st January 2017.
