Our Mini Bairns programme provides football and sporting activity for children aged 2-4 years old. Delivered in line with the Falkirk Player Pathway, which allows boys and girls to play football from a young age through to adulthood in a structured development environment. We believe in encouraging learning through football and developing boys and girls through active play.
Our Mini Bairns programme seeks to improve physical literacy, co-ordination, balance, communication, courage, confidence and teamwork, using a mixture of football-related activities.
Sessions are held weekly at the Falkirk Stadium and Denny Sports Centre, and are delivered by experienced and fully qualified Scottish Football Association Coaches. All coaches undertake Child Protection training and are qualified in First Aid. All coaches have been PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme checked. The course prepares your child to progress to the Junior Academy which is the next step in the Falkirk Player Pathway designed for children age 4 – 12.
Mini Bairns classes run throughout the year, in line with school term-time. All sessions follow a structured curriculum designed to develop individual player’s skills as the season progresses.
The Mini Bairns costs £15 a month.
