The EFDN Conference 2023, hosted at AEK Athens, proved to be a remarkable two-day affair for Falkirk Foundation’s Derek and Grant, who represented our organisation among a gathering of esteemed football clubs from across Europe. This year’s central focus centred on the crucial theme of “making football matter,” perfectly echoing our dedication to community engagement.
Amidst a collaborative environment, our delegates had the privilege of participating in enlightening sessions, where they shared and learned best practices. Distinguished presentations by industry leaders like Man City in the Community, River Plate, Chelsea Foundation, Legia Warsaw, and IFK Gothenberg shed light on innovative strategies and initiatives propelling impactful community work within the football sphere.
