Junior Academy

A safe environment for your child to develop their football skills before joining a team!

Junior academy

Falkirk Junior Academy is an exciting programme aimed at boys and girls aged 4 – 12 which seeks to develop individual skills and produce creative players. We believe in learning through football and developing players through active play in small sided games which allows kids to display the skills they have learned in a pressure free match environment.

Our highly popular Falkirk Junior Academy program aligns with our Player Pathway, providing boys and girls with the opportunity to engage in football from the age of 18 months old all the way through adulthood. The Falkirk Foundations Junior Academy is for children between the ages of 4.5 years old and 12 years old.

This structured development environment offers a range of programs aimed at encouraging learning and fostering the growth of young players through active play. The primary objective of our Falkirk Junior Academy program is to enhance individual skills and nurture creative players.

Our weekly sessions take place outdoors on AstroTurf and are conducted by experienced and fully qualified SFA Coaches. These coaches have undergone Child Protection training and hold First Aid qualifications. Furthermore, they have all been subjected to the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme checks.

This comprehensive course prepares your child for our Community Team program, which serves as the next step in our Player Pathway. Falkirk Junior Academy classes are available throughout the year, following the school term schedule. Each session adheres to a structured curriculum designed to progressively develop the individual skills of players as the season unfolds. These classes have a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes and are held at the Woodlands Games Hall Pitch.
