The Falkirk Football Community Foundation has applied for funding through the Community Choices Scheme.
We hope to purchase an electric van to deliver our projects in different locations in the Falkirk Community. These projects range from football delivery, employability, mental health and first aid. The vehicle will be used to help with our winter campaign where we deliver food hampers, warm clothing and toys to those that need them over the winter.
Our vision is to be a leading provider of sport, health, education, and employability activities to children, young people, and adults in our community.
The Falkirk Foundation works with local and national partners to provide innovative initiatives that engage people across all age groups and backgrounds. We are extremely proud of our partner relationships that are the heartbeat of the community.
The community’s wellbeing is integral to our work and tackling deep-rooted issues is of utmost importance.
The purchase will help in the Foundations goal of becoming carbon neutral. We are an organisation that strives for a greener future and an electric van will help us with our aspirations to be more sustainable.
The voting phase of Community Choices opened on Monday 30 January and closes Friday 24 February 2023. Details of all projects in the public vote will be available to view online.
Voting is live now via our website www.falkirk.gov.uk/ccvote.
Please note that to vote for us, you have to live in Ward 6. Please refer to the map below to check whether you are eligible to vote.
There are two different ways that the public can vote for their favourite projects:
- Go on-line to www.falkirk.gov.uk/ccvote and vote.
or
- Fill in a Ballot paper and deposit these in Ballot Boxes. These are available in your local library and other social spaces.
To help with paper voting, a map of the ward will be available next to ballot boxes, this can be used to help identify valid postcodes in the area. The map can also be found below.
