If your child is an aspiring goalkeeper, then our Goalkeeping Academy programme will help to learn and develop the skills needed to become a talented keeper.
Developing goalkeeping skills
Aimed at boys and girls aged 8+, the Academy seeks to improve individual skills and develop as a goalkeeper. We offer the opportunity to learn the basics of goalkeeping such as handling, positioning and shot stopping.
Fully qualified SFA coaches
The programme features fun hourly sessions each week on the Astroturf at Falkirk Stadium and all sessions are taken by experienced and fully qualified SFA Goalkeeping coaches. All coaches are qualified in First Aid and have received Child Protection training as well as being PVG checked.
School-term sessions
Through this programme we aim to encourage learning through football and developing children through physical activity. Goalkeeping Academy classes run in line with school term time and follow a carefully thought out curriculum which aims to prepare your child for the next stage of their career as a Goalkeeper.
