About Multiply Courses
During 2024, we launched the Multiply Programme. Funded by the UK Government, this 6-week course combined educational and physical activity with a particular focus on developing confidence in participants’ numeracy skills and enhancing their life opportunities.
The numeracy tasks were directly linked to football and other sporting environments where numbers play a key part of the game. This approach allowed participants to develop their skills in a fun and engaging way whilst also keeping active. Those who took part also gained SQA qualifications related to numeracy, allowing them to boost their chances of progressing into employment or further education.
